Harting Festivities

I'll be selling my makes at South Harting on Monday. It's the village's annual festivities when the bunting comes out, the bands play, the fun fair comes to town and gardeners sell their surplus. My friend Chris, who makes bread boards and I will have tables somewhere along the High Street. The whole population comes out to enjoy themselves and catch up with their neighbours and lots of people visit from nearby towns and villages.
I remember asking this band where they get their splendid jackets from. That's right, they buy second hand uniform from the Coldstream Guards.
